Beijing Zoo is home to seven chubby pandas - here is one who entertained us for a while.


The Summer Palace is a spectacular place. Everyone who visits can enjoy the pleasures and tranquility that was reserved only for the "elite" years ago. Realizing this makes us actually appreciate walking around in crowds! The grounds were full of families - going for a boat ride, playing cards, having picnics, and genrally enjoying a beautiful summer day. We took a stoll down the longest corridor in the world.
